Location and Things to
See

Langourla is ideally placed to explore the Côtes
d'Armor, Ille et Vilaine and Morbihan.
Within easy reach is the beautiful coastline from
Val-André up to Cap Fréhel, changing from vast sandy
beaches to the more rugged coastline within a few
kilometres. |
There are many
lakes in the area offering fishing, boating and bird
watching. The area offers many walks suitable for all,
ranging from short walks to the more demanding for
the enthusiast.
The area is also very popular with cyclists.
Langourla has a jazz festival that
takes place each summer by the lake at the open air
theatre. Stone for the local houses was also quarried
from this area. |

The medieval town of Montcontour is close by and, every
two years, holds a celebrated medieval fête.
Josseline, Lambelle, Plénée-Jugon, Jugon-Les-Lacs,
Dinan, Lamballe, Loudéac, Merdrignac and Broons are all
within easy reach, and offer full facilities, bars, restaurants
and large supermarkets whilst, for the shopaholic, St Brieuc
and Rennes are waiting for you.
|
Market days are especially enjoyable whether in small local towns
and villages or the larger towns such as Dinan, Rennes and St Brieuc.
